Özet

Barajlar, su kaynaklarının geliştirilmesi ve yenilenebilir enerji üretimi alanında inşası yapılan, ülke ekonomisine katkıda bulunan mühendislik yapılarından birisidir. Dolusavak, baraj membasına gelen suların emniyetli bir halde baraj mansabına aktarmayı sağlayan baraj elemanlarıdır. Dolusavak tasarımında performans belirleyici nitelikte daha hızlı, ekonomik ve güvenli hesaplama yöntemlerine ihtiyaç duyulduğu söylenebilir. Bu çalışmada, bir laboratuvar dolusavak modeli üzerinde yapılan deneysel çalışmaların sonuçları ile aynı geometriye sahip modelin etrafındaki akış yapısının sayısal yöntemlerle hesaplanmasından gözlemlenen sonuçların mukayesesi yapılmaktadır. Tasarım amaçlı çalışmalar, gerektiğinde, fiziksel model deneyleriyle desteklenebilmekle birlikte, bu çalışmalar zaman alıcı olduğundan proje maliyetini olumsuz yönde etkileyebilmektedir. Özellikle son yıllarda bilgisayar teknolojisinin gelişimine paralel olarak hesaplamalı akışkanlar dinamiğinde kapsamlı yazılımların ortaya çıkmasıyla diğer endüstri dallarındaki gibi hidrolik dalında da sonlu farklar, sonlu elemanlar, sonlu hacimler gibi sayısal çözümleme teknikleri kullanılarak akış yapılarının analizi ile hidrolik yapılar modellenebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Muş Alpaslan II Barajı'nın dolusavağına ait iki boyutlu geometri AutoCAD kullanılarak modellenmiş, dolusavak modeli ile etkileşim halindeki akımı idare eden temel denklemler, sonlu hacimler yöntemine dayalı Ansys-Fluent Hesaplamalı Akışkanlar Dinamiği (HAD) yazılım programıyla sayısal olarak çözülmüştür. Çok fazlı akımlar için Volume of Fluid (VOF) metodu kullanılmıştır. Türbülans modelinde RANS yaklaşımı tercih edilmiştir. Sayısal modelde RANS (Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes) denklemleri RNG (Renormolized Group) türbülans modeli kullanılarak, ortogonal hesap hücreleri üzerinde çözülmüştür. Dolusavak modellemesinde akımda su yüzey alanının sayısal hesaplaması yapılmış ve elde edilen sonuçlar DSİ-TAKK dairesi başkanlığınca yapılan deney sonuçları ile karşılaştırılarak birbiriyle uyumlu olduğu gözlenmiştir.

Dams are one of the important engineering structures built within the scope of the development of water resources and renewable energy production, contributing to the development of the country. Spillways are dam elements that are used to safely transfer the flood waters coming from the dam reservoir to the downstream of the dam. It can be said that there is a need for faster, economical and safer calculation methods that determine performance in the design of the spillway. In this study, the results obtained from the experimental studies on a laboratory spillway model and the results observed from the calculation of the flow structure around the model with the same geometry by numerical methods are compared. Although design studies can be supported by physical model experiments, when necessary, such studies are time consuming and can negatively affect the cost of the project. Especially in recent years, in parallel with the development of computer technology, CFD software-extensive with the emergence of other industries, as in the hydraulic branch, finite differences, finite elements, finite volumes using techniques such as quantitative analysis, the analysis of the flow structures hydraulic structures can be modeled. In this study, the two-dimensional geometry of the Spillway of Muş Alpaslan II Dam was modeled using AutoCAD, and the basic equations governing the flow in interaction with the spillway model were numerically analyzed with the Ansys-Fluent CFD software package program based on the finite volume method. has been resolved. Volume of Fluid (VOF) method was used for multiphase currents. The RANS approach has been preferred in the turbulence model. In the numerical model, RANS equations are solved on orthogonal calculation cells by using the RNG turbulence model. In the design of the spillway, the numerical solution of the water field in the flow the results obtained have been interpreted by comparing them with the model test results conducted by the DSI-TAKK department. It was observed that the results were consistent with each other
