The Rumors Related To Death Announcement And Its Current Practises

Abstract

The rumors about the death announcement was examined in this article. In addition to the rumors banning the death announcement in basic hadith sources, the rumors indicating that the death announcememt was made in the period of the Prophet are also included. In this study, the concerned rumors were discussed primarily in terms of evidence and the satus of the narrators were identified in terms of science of hadith. Moreover, the comments of Islamic scholars related to those rumors were searched and how these hadiths containing opposite meanings need to be understood and its reflections of hadiths to our period were discussed.
