Distance education systems used in universities of Turkey and Northern Cyprus

Abstract

Distance Education is a method of education in which learners are physically separate from educators. The distance education systems are used in most universities in Turkey and Northern Cyprus. The most commonly used are Moodle and WebCT. Moodle is an open source learning management system that is the most widely used among Web-Based Distance Education Models.
