Tıp Fakültesi Öğrencilerinin Hijyen Konusundaki Bilgi, Tutum ve Davranışlarının İncelenmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Gaziantep’te bir tıp fakültesinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin bireysel hijyene ilişkin bilgi, tutum ve davranışlarının incelenmesi, bu konuda farkındalık oluşturulmasıdır. Gereç ve yöntem: Araştırma, Gaziantep’te bir tıp fakültesinin 1., 2. ve 3. sınıflarında eğitim gören ve dahil edilme kriterlerini sağlayan 174 gönüllü ile tamamlandı. Öğrencilere sosyodemografik bilgilere ilişkin sorulara ek olarak hijyen alışkanlıklarını değerlendiren 60 soru, kadın öğrencilere özel genital hijyeni değerlendiren 14 soru ile toplam 74 soruluk bir anket uygulandı. Bulgular: Araştırmaya 73’ü kadın, 101’i erkek olmak üzere toplam 174 kişi katıldı. Araştırmada, diş fırçası değiştirme sıklığı, el ve ayak havlularının ayrı olması, nemlendirici kullanma durumu, giysilere verilen önem, kendine ait tarağı olma, tuvalet sonrası kurulama durumu, el yıkama zamanı açısından cinsiyetler arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar saptandı (PAim: To examine the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of students studying at a medical school in Gaziantep and to raise awareness on this issue. Materials and methods: The research was completed with 174 volunteers who were educated in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades of a medical school in Gaziantep and met the inclusion criteria. In addition to questions about sociodemographic information, 60 questions evaluating hygiene habits, 14 questions evaluating specific genital hygiene for female students, and a total of 74 questions were applied to the students.
