Osmanlı müesseseleri ve medeniyeti tarihi bilim dalında yapılmış lisansüstü tezlerin tahlili

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Osmanlı Müesseseleri ve Medeniyeti Tarihi Bilim dalına ait Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu Ulusal Veri Tabanı bünyesinde bulunan 50 adet tezin incelemesi yapılmıştır. Araştırma, tarama modeline bağlı kalınarak doküman incelemesiyle ele alınmıştır. Tezlerin açık erişimde olması araştırmanın akışını hızlandırmıştır. Bu araştırma ile incelenen tezlerin konusal tasnifleri yapılıp çalışmalar birbirleriyle karşılaştırılmıştır. İncelenen tezlerde Osmanlı idari yapısı, ekonomik politikaları, sosyal hayatı ve kültürel paylaşımları gibi çeşitli konulara yer verildiği görülmüştür. Osmanlı Devleti'nin siyasi, sosyal ve ekonomik yapısından kaynaklanan önemli değişiklikler, büyük bir çeşitliliği de beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu çeşitlilik, Osmanlı Müesseseleri ve Medeniyeti Tarihinin çok boyutlu bir inceleme alanı olduğunu göstermektedir. İncelenen tezler arasında en yoğun ilgi gören konuların başında arşiv belgelerine dayalı defter transkripsiyonları gelmektedir. En eski tarihli tez 1992 yılına ait olup, en yeni tez ise 2023 yılında yapılmıştır. İncelenen tezler, kullandıkları teknikler açısından Osmanlı Tarihine ilgi duyan araştırmacılara fikir sunmaktadır. Analizi yapılan lisansüstü tezlerde, 15. yüzyıldan 20. yüzyıla kadar olan dönemler ele alınmıştır. Bu kronolojik dağılım, Osmanlı genelinde farklı dönemlere yönelik akademik ilginin devam ettiğini göstermektedir. İnceleme alanımız olan YÖK Veri Tabanı'ndaki Osmanlı Müesseseleri ve Medeniyeti Tarihi Bilim dalı anahtar kelimesi ile yapılan taramada 50 adet tez karşımıza çıkmaktaysa da ülkemizde bulunan çeşitli üniversitelerin çeşitli bilim dallarında da bu bilim dalında yapılmış tezler mevcuttur. Fakat inceleme alanımız Osmanlı Müesseseleri ve Medeniyeti Tarihi Bilim dalında yapılmış tezler olduğu için bunlar çalışmaya dâhil edilmemiştir.In this study, 50 theses in the Department of History of Ottoman Institutions and Civilizations in the National Database of the Council of Higher Education were examined. The research was conducted through document analysis, adhering to the scanning model. Having theses in open access has accelerated the flow of research. The theses examined in this research were classified thematically and the studies were compared with each other. It was seen that the theses examined included various topics such as the Ottoman administrative structure, economic policies, social life and cultural sharing. Significant changes arising from the political, social and economic structure of the Ottoman Empire brought about great diversity. This diversity shows that the History of Ottoman Institutions and Civilization is a multi-dimensional field of study. Among the theses examined, one of the most popular topics is notebook transcriptions based on archive documents. The oldest thesis is from 1992, and the newest thesis was made in 2023. The theses examined offer ideas to researchers interested in Ottoman History in terms of the techniques they use. In the postgraduate theses analyzed, the periods from the 15th century to the 20th century were discussed. This chronological distribution shows that academic interest in different periods continues throughout the Ottoman Empire. Although there are 50 theses in the search made with the keyword "Ottoman Institutions and Civilization History" in the YÖK Database, which is our field of study, there are also theses written in this branch of science in various branches of science of various universities in our country. However, since our field of study is the theses written in the field of History Ottoman Institutions and Civilization, these were not included in the study.
