Özet
Reasons of unemployment differ between countries. For Turkey, the most important reasons are population growth which is a consequence of increase in fertility, migrations from rural into urban, insufficient growth in employment, low educational level of labor force and economic crisis. Decrease in fertility and so in population growth dramatically determines the unemployment rate in short and long term, this decrease has drawn attention in recent years. Therefore identifying socioeconomic determinants of fertility which are female labor force participation, industrialization, urbanization, income and education level and immigration are very important in Turkey. Education which effect other factors and directly fertility and population growth is the most important factor in Turkey.
