Özet

Graphene oxide (GO) was synthesized by the modified Hummers method. Graphene oxide-polyaniline (GO-PANI) composite film was deposited on platinum-iridium (Pt-Ir) electrode by electrochemical polymerization of aniline in the solution of 0.5 M H2SO4 and 0.4 M aniline monomer with 4 mg/mL dispersed GO powder under constant potential. The structural and morphological properties of GO and GO-PANI composite film were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The electrochemical behavior of GO-PANI composite film was analyzed by cyclic voltammetry (CV) in terms of cycling stability and reusability. The characterization results confirmed the successful production of GO and the formation of GO-PANI composite film. GO-PANI deposited Pt-Ir electrode was further examined in electrochemical degradation of Reactive Blue 4 and Acid Red 97 textile dyes in 0.5 M H2SO4 electrolyte solution for the environmental electrochemistry application.
